Some section heads are not represented the same across all templates:

# EQUIPMENT (4 templates), # EQUIPMENT, SOFTWARE & PACKAGES (1 template)
## REFERENCES (3 templates), # REFERENCES (2 templates)
## APPENDIX A: DATASHEETS (3 templates), # APPENDIX A: DATASHEETS (2 templates)
# STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE (4 templates, missing from one)
### Preparation (4 templates, missing from one)

Main fix would would be to add a level to many of the headings, eg "# --> ##". Note that "#" (H1) should be reserved for the title and used only once in a Markdown document.
