This is the overarching issue card for dealing with PDF interaction.

Beagle should:

[ ] Be able to highlight text in PDF.
[ ] Be able to grab metadata from paper (reliably). (crossref)
[ ] Be able to save annotations.
[ ] Be able to pinpoint a line.
[ ] Be able to read useful data from paper pdf (pdf.js, etc)
[ ] Be able to discern paper structure (title, keywords, abstract, sections, figures, refs, authors, etc).

and for things not in PubMed, there is always CrossRef doi lookup
