[8193.33] Strafing in combat causes PC to stop attacking altogether #403

To Reproduce

Launch the attached module.
Start attacking the goblin with a regular melee attack.
Try strafing around during combat using the Q and E keys.
The PC will stop attacking the goblin altogether. Not even cancelling the attack and re-attacking can remedy this.
After a long time the PC may randomly fix their attacks, but in a real module the PC would be dead by then.

OS: Linux
Game build: 8193.33
Distro platform: GOG
Content overrides: None
Regression: not present in 1.69

I'll politely bump this one. :) I think strafing being unusable is a problem because it makes flanking much more difficult. Also, it's a regression from 1.69, where the issue's not present.
