Backpacks just vanish while playing #204

Backpacks just poof out of existence with all of their items at random times. I think it is because of a chunk lag? I'm not sure but it begins to happen if I explore too many chunks without quitting. I'm unsure about the specifics of the problem since I'll be playing and then I'll suddenly notice that I don't have the backpack anymore. I'm not dropping it either. This bug is rather debilitating and makes me paranoid constantly checking if it is gone yet with my diamonds

It happened to me whilst setting it down back and forth, losing all my items, and all without a trace. I even tried searching for it via commands to no avail...
