To change to filezilla 1.x+ requires a non b/c break of the build.xml and possible rewrite/changes to its internal structure due to the many changes. When I spoke to filezilla about this I was told it was not possible anymore to make it portable. Perhaps I'm mistaken now that I reread it. https://forum.filezilla-project.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=54363 https://forum.filezilla-project.org/viewtopic.php?p=178223#p178223
Looking at the forum posts it seems to indicate that the configuration can still be set without installing the software, which would retain portability. How to do that I have not checked into it.
i read something about it can be done in the options file?
Looking at xlightftpd, looks like it would be a decent replacement to filezilla.
