Progress bar in Xdialog Gui Installer resets to 0

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install pentoo to the hard drive
2. Watch progress bar. The correct number will flash as it updates, then it 
will reset to 0
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
You should see a growing progress bar

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Pentoo 2014 RC 3.5 on live cd
Please provide any additional information below.

I don't understand what you are seeing.  You mean the way it resets when 
unpacking the next file?  I did the install on your computer like two days ago 
and the progress only reset to zero as it read the other files, not randomly or 
intermittently.

First it unpacks the main squashfs, then portage and the pentoo overlay and any 
changes files you have.  It will reset the counter to zero each time since the 
counter is per file.  Is this not what you are seeing?

Sounds like its expected behavior then. I was unaware the progress bar was per 
file. When its doing the install i saw the progress bar and expected it to be 
the progress of the file copy, not a progress per file. I had to re-install 
which was when i noticed it. Personally i would find an overall progress bar 
more useful then a per-file but that's just my two cents. Feel free to close 
the bug.

yeah but this is the best we can do.  it's separate processes, separate 
commands, separate bars.  the first is the longest.
