Null operands should result in null results. #9

The consensus between Nele and me is that all expression beeds should result in 
null if one of their 
operands is null. We are sure this is not consistently done so (sometimes we 
would return false, the 
empty set, or 0 or 1, or Nan, …). We whould make this consistent.
