(Encrypted?) PDF cause problems #455

A user reports that (formerly) encrypted PDFs cause problems, and annotations cannot be imported. An example PDF is in the email Re: Forum post - Re: "Import annotations" does not work with some PDF documents

Actually, there are two problems

  1. When I store the example PDF in my literature repository it's not added to the incoming node, when I refresh the mind-map
  2. When I drag&drop the PDF to the mind-map, annotations are not imported. Similarly, when i select the PDF and choose "Import all annotations", nothing happens.

The user reports some error messages. I don't get any error messages.

the user found a workaround and that is using "Goodreader". see http://www.docear.org/support/forums/docear-support-forums-group3/general-feedback-questions-forum5/which-ipad-pdf-app-for-annotation-thread532/
