Respond slowly as a snail #38

Hi, I'm writing my thesis with Docear4word, the version of word is 2013 with docear4word updated. I've got 400 pages and hundreds of ciatations now. My issue is that everytime when I insert or update a ciation, Docear4word will spend at least ONE minute to respond. I don't know what's behind there, but can you pls check it and make it faster? Since I've got huge amount of citations, it's a big problem for me now.

I'm a new user myself and so can't really help you. However, a previous post noted that Docear4Word actually stores the abstract in Word (https://github.com/Docear/Docear4Word/issues/3) and this still hasn't been fixed. With such a large number of references, perhaps this is causing your slow-down? You can quickly delete all the abstracts from your library using JabRef (go to "Search" menu, select "set/clear/rename fields", type in "Abstract" in field name, select "all entries" and "clear fields").
