Problem with windows Defender #13

Installed this morning, was alarmed when steam tried to start downloading a ton of games. Thats on me for not reading the current feature list.

Defender quarantined the file and trying to download it again chrome blocks it stating "virus detected". I know this probably looks like something it's not, any virus total links or solution that I can re-download?

win 11 newest update.

I have submitted the to Microsoft for analysis. Im finding other solutions since that will most likely end up doing nothing.

For now simply make an exception for the executable or use the source files with the setup

Thank you for responding I am going to try another browser and white-list the location. I just wanted to make sure you were aware.

chrome should work fine if you add the install path to exclusions otherwise just use ctrl + J to go to the downloads page on google and chose keepfile

It's not just WD, but a whole bunch of AVs that detect the exe (Seems to me like mostly false IPs flags (What confuses me is why there is an attempt to connect to a OutLook adress??)). The SC in the main.zip has 0 detects + the AutoBanana.py itself has no detects.

I tested everything through VirusTotal.

  1. I have no clue about the outlook address.
  2. I read about that and it has something to do with pyinstaller itself i have not yet found a good solution so ye
