Perspective correction enhancement #1532

The perspective correction has only two options, and it do not allow a proper correction
of certain imagnes. You need to move the 4 corners of the photographer to achieve simultaneous
correction. Probably better a graphical method to stretch the 4 corners?

Ubuntu-11.10-64bit, with the last nightshot (10-8-12)

An easier to use perspective correction has been suggested long ago - easier than stretching
4 corners or fiddling with sliders.
Focus on the "draw guide" idea:

Expanding on #1 above.
We can draw a line to rotate the image. Feature request for re-projection code, so
that if we could draw two or more vertical or horizontal lines, the image would be
re-projected so that these line would be made straight. Having worked with panoramic
images for years where this sort of things needs to be done to every single one, I
have not come across an easier way of getting objects straight.
Yaw/pitch/roll and horizontal/vertical perspective adjustment sliders are fine as a
bonus, but nothing comes close to the ease with which perspective can be fixed by simply
drawing two (or more) straight lines.

well.. in latest ACR one just needs to click a button and horizontals and verticals
get auto-determined & correction is auto-applied. This, I must say, is super cool
for architecture shots.

Not sure if we get there, but drawing more than one line would certainly be helpful.

Closing as there's just no need to keep this open and the links are dead and there's issue 1843.
