Request: feature interpolation for timelapse

Please could we have the ability to smoothly interpolate a subset of parameters (exposure, white-balance, Lab, HSV, film emulation strength, ...) across a set of thumbnails? It should suffice that the user specifies how the start and end should look (potentially quite different white-balances and exposures) and RawTherapee interpolate across the selection between them, maybe popping-up a "which parameters to interpolate?" dialog similar to the subsets-of-profiles dialogs used elsewhere.

I see there's a similar issue #2331 raised but non-obvious what the resolution was nor does there seem to be a feature in the right-click menu like it suggests, hence this request here. Also, using an automated deflicker is not the same as taking control of the transitions oneself.
