Metadata filter resets upon entering a new dir #562

Originally reported on Google Code with ID 573

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go into a dir in the file browser.
2. Enable the metadata filter, set an iso range 1000 - 1600 for example.
3. Go into another dir.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect the ISO filter to keep the values I set. Instead it resets to 100 - 1600.
Despite resetting the value, internally it still is 1000 - 1600 because it still only
shows me those photos.

There may be more to this, because initially when I noticed this bug today the first
value would reset from 1000 to 200, not 100 as now, and although I'm not sure, I think
that internally it got reset as well, but I was helping janrinze test something and
did a few recompilations in the meanwhile, and now its as I described above.

I think the range of values in metadata filter is based on metadata values of the images
in the browsed directory. Do you observe that it is not so?

You are right, and it's very annoying. I want to be able to set e.g. 400-800 ISO range
in the metadata filter and to jump from dir to dir looking for such photos. I can't
do that the way it is now, RT resets the values.
