Wavelet levels tool Residual image odd behavior #5971

Linux Mint 20 RT5.8dev commit: b4f68adb6

The Highlights slider inside the Residual Image module has an odd, or perhaps a very particular behavior: if you slide to the right the image gets darker, and if you slide to the left, the image gets darker... The difference may be on which parts the image gets darker, but it seems to me it's an odd or unexpected behavior.

With settings of +90 and -90, in the following image we have: left part slider at -90, center slider at 0, and right slider at +90 residual-highlights

Although I'm not sure about how it works, it seems that a positive value darkens the whole image, while a negative value darkens the highlights more than the rest of the image

So be it, if there's no better option.

Then this issue is not an issue anymore
