Support for Fujifilm EXR HR (High Resolution) mode #7004

Cameras like the Fujifilm Finepix HS30EXR, but generally theRAW capable subset of the EXR series, produce .RAF files that consist of two individual frames. Currently only some tools (like the RAW FILE CONVERTER EX) can merge these two frames to increase the output resolution to the cameras advertised resolution. This process, at least from my understanding, should be similar to how other camera manufacturers increase their sensors resolution via pixel shift. (With the obvious limitation of only two frames being available, but the advantage, that the pictures have been taken at the same moment in time)

Currently RawTherapee can use these two frames to decrease the overall noise of the image by choosing the SN "Sub-Image" during demosaicing. As far as I can tell, RawTherapee also is able to use these two frames to increase the dynamic range of the pictures, by setting the camera use different exposures for the two frames. A feature that EXR cameras usually provide.

However, as far as I can tell from the outside, RawTherapee is unable to increase the output resolution via Pixel Shift (the nearest analogous technology in RawTherapee) from the two frames.

This feature request was sparked by this forum thread, about me encountering this issue. It provides an .RAF file and the cameras own conversion to a high res .jpg.

I might be wrong, but as far as I know EXR DR is only supported via HDRMerge.
