I did also notice that the Megalake Grove was kinda laggy. It didn't crash for me though.
So, this is caused by a not really flawless generation of the megalake structure. Basically what happens is that during generation lot of Endstone Dust blocks are placed without a support directly below. This sometimes cause many of them to start falling when updated, which in turn causes a chain of block updates which is what is causing the lag spike. I think i saw this happen only once or twice during my test explorations, and the slow down was quite bearable, but this is for sure something that need to be improved in the future.
I will add just one comment, though it may seem like a minimal issue compared to other bugs, BUT for servers it's hell.
TPS drops significantly and ruins the experience for everyone in the server. Just because one or two people decided to explore the end. Singleplayer is expected to not really suffer at all from a bug like this but for servers, it's a big issue.

My issue: I was just testing the BetterEnd forge mod in-conjunction with my Biomes You'll Go mod, it works perfectly with my server and found both better end and byg biomes but as I got deeper in my exploration, my server started to lag...horribly. I mean it.
My ticks dipped to nothing and then ended.
Screenshot Context: When roaming around on my server with the latest BetterEnd mod, I noticed this problem only occurs in the Megalake Grove. There's Endstone dust everwhere, perhaps the generation is a bit broken?
