participant are not correctly added as participant inside the caldav calendar

Hello,

i have a a meeting in my dolibarr calendar assigned to a customer with a customer, reponsible person, place etc..

but non of the participant is inside the participant tab, they all get added into the description

i will provide screenshot and data privately

Yes, of course. Adding them to participant list could send them invitation (some client calendar apps do it) and then they would be tempted to add it to their calendar and so duplicate the event which is already in dolibarr.

no thats not that at all, the information get lost when synchronized in thunderbird, trought caldav, so the information is not correct.

i should have the same information on all my device, if not there is an issue of data being not conform, it consider it corrupted.

You haven't lost information, they are stored in description note.

CDav is a module to help user to have access to their information when they are out of office, it is not a full certified CardDAV/CalDAV server. It is a compromise depending on Dolibarr and some client application capabilities. We are sure that implementing full participant management is something extremely hard to be functional on every caldav client application. This development is not planned at this time.

We have to investigate all consequences and side effects before considering this enhancement. This issue is kept opened meanwhile.

(Sorry you consider this issue this way. I remind you that LDAP support has been added especially for your needs and that Dolistore purchase is just a contribution to enhancement as explained in Readme.)

sorry but you are selling something that is not event working for the most basic task, so yes i would expect the basic task to work

quoting your entry to the dolibarr store

CardDAV / CalDAV and ICS synchronisation. It uses included Sabre/DAV library.

**You can :

Read and Edit Dolibarr calendars through CalDAV
Read and Edit Dolibarr addressBooks through CardDAV
Read Dolibarr calendars through ICS Full version or only Free/Busy (hide details)
Access Dolibarr documents through WebDAV (if admin)

Each user can access his/her contacts address book (public and own private contacts), his/her own calendar and other users calendars according to his/her rights.

Dolibarr contact informations fill personnal informations in client software cards.

Society informations (to which contact is attached) fill professional informations in client software cards.

Cards updated in client software fill only Dolibarr contacts (not Society).

It is possible to select which contacts to sync with CDAV_CONTACT_TAG configuration value in Home / Setup / Other setup. Enter a contact tag value and then only contacts with this tag will be synced (empty value for all).

Calendar records with "Status / Percentage" set to "Not applicable" are converted to events in CalDAV (VEVENT), others are converted to tasks (VTODO).

Recurring events are not handled.**

as you can see there is no mention of a contribution for enhancement and yes of course it sould support all authentication mode of dolibarr.

but apart from that when do you plan to have a version with all the basic fonctionalities in ?
