how does one get coal for aeternalis fuel in this pack?

There are a few options. My personal preference is to get it from a hollow hill in the Twilight Forest. You can also get it from wither skeletons and a few other mobs. In addition, there are methods I don't remember, but I don't remember which methods those are. Most reliable, non-random way in my opinion is the hollow hills in the Twilight Forest.

Ahh, yes, now I remember. Ash. In the nether there is ash, and you can combine ash into coal if you gather enough. That's probably easier even than the Twilight Forest, depending on your nether biomes.

you could also use an alchemists tome and get all the things with emc into your tablet then search for coal
