NEI Searching does not work #24

I can search in NEI, but it doesn't actually filter the results.

Does it work ever? Normally it "breaks" after using the ability to search your inventory for an item. Then it usually takes a client restart. And that is a known NEI issue. Is that what is happening?

No... It just doesn't do anything.

Oh, I just noticed something that makes this all the more interesting: When I search, it does gray-out the things in my inventory that do not match my filter, just not the things in the NEI window. When I read the console's activity as I search, it says the following when I type a letter: [NEI Item Filtering/WARN] [Waila]: Error while filtering items : java.util.ConcurrentModificationException : null

I am guessing it is a conflict between Waila and NEI, judging by that.

Is the NEI search bar gold/yellow? If so... double-click it. It should turn back to white. Then restart your client.

I could try that, but I just realized more: That error log does not come up when I search, it comes up literally the second I start the game, and it says that same message like 23 times. Let me go try that.

That works! Also, it seems to have solved my GUI Lag problem. However, I'll have to test that part a liitle more to be 100% sure.

I haven't had this bug since we updated mods to test the next release, so maybe it has been fixed. If that is the case, it (aka NEI search) will be fixed in the next update.
