No dialpad appears before session has already been established with 200OK/ACK #411

There are cases where be necessary to dial the extension number and its password for authorization purpose, as an example, after receive a 183 session progress and then receive a message asking for this (RTP packets). But linphone cannot show me the dialpad in order to complete that process. Dialpad can only automaticaly or manualy be used (only appears) after the session has already been established with 200OK/ACK. Could you please correct this issue?

I have this question as well. Is it a design feature that there is no dialpad?

I am using the Linux desktop app (4.1.1; Core 3.12.0). It does not have a dialpad unless I first receive a call.

However, I noticed on a review of earlier versions of Linphone.

+1 from me, I would like to have a dialpad available from the beginning, to make calls.

Why? Sometimes you get a number with a mnemonic, ie: *support. Having a dialpad like a real phone would allow dialing those numbers.
