If needed, the 5.0.18 should be available on Debian10 from the RELEASE repository: https://download.linphone.org/releases/linux/app/?C=M;O=D Old versions like 3.12 will never get any fixes aside from distributions and does not support most of features.
If needed, the 5.0.18 should be available on Debian10
Great.., have duild for 32bit platform!? NO!? WHY!? Give me money on 64bit PC! Or send me 64bit PC like gift...then I get 5.0.18 an be hapy...
other words:
Last thing, that can be.., this compilation v4.x for low dependencies/RAM/CPU-usage/etc - but where find correct instruction!? When official linphone guide give NOT correct "XML formatted configuration file" example and not complete explanation about him!!! This is real trash...
Now.., messages accepted fom android USER2 but some bug: when linphone 3 start and in tray (no mater, may be and not tray), about 1st message from USER2 we see popup note, but when open linphone 1st message we NOT see in chat window! Other next message fom android USER2 success appear in chat window, 1st message appear only after next restart program. Also ZRTP calls seems like some how to work, but secure ZRTP chat message fom android USER2 like send.., but not delivery to debian USER1 any way, and USER1 not have any error in debug window (empty).
This called as "Help self you self"...
Environment
USER1 User-Agent: Linphone 3.12.0 (Debian 10) Behind NAT (direct connection, in network settings)
USER2 User-Agent: LinphoneAndroid/5.0.12 (noname) LinphoneSDK/5.2.62 (tags/5.2.62^0) Behind NAT also with default settings when add SIP account
Problem 1
USER1 can't use TLS transport for sip.linphone.org account and in debug window we see error
Problem 2
TCP/UDP transport work for login USER1, but USER1 can't get message from USER2 and in debug window we see error
If USER1 (debian) send msg to USER2 (android), then USER2 get msg successful.
In Problem 2 seems trouble not in NAT, but in "content-type message/cpim" than not supported in "User-Agent: Linphone 3.12.0 (Debian 10)"
Similar prolem for Asterisk:
Also USER1 not see that USER2 is active, but USER2 active (smartphone in my hand).
How to fix?
Buy new PC and install latest linphone 4.x version? :))
