[Bug]: Unresponsive GUI on Windows 10 while having "text cursor indicator" active #771

Context

Unresponsive GUI whithin the whole application on serveral test systems

General information

Expected behaviour

GUI should stay responsive

To Reproduce

  1. Go to Windows setting => Text Cursor => Select Turn on text cursor indicator (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/make-your-mouse-keyboard-and-other-input-devices-easier-to-use-10733da7-fa82-88be-0672-f123d4b3dcfe chapter Use the text cursor indicator)
  2. Try to drag application or open settings menu
  3. Application slows down and/or gets unresponsive and CPU load gets up

Seems to be resolved in 5.1.1
