Open Martell17 opened 2 months ago

Martell17 commented 2 months ago

Context

Linphone Windows desktop client is used as a SIP client. SIP server is our on-premise Asterisk server, version 20.7. No video calling or instant messaging used. I can make a call to other clients of this Asterisk server, as well as to landline/mobile phones.

General information

Expected behaviour

The conference call with 3 members (me, 1st peer, 2nd peer) established.

To Reproduce

  1. Call 1st peer by mobile phone from Linphone, this peer answered
  2. While the first call is active, call the other mobile phone. The first call is on hold.
  3. press the Conference button
  4. There is a message "The call is not ready yet" in a call window for a couple of seconds.
  5. Linphone crashed.
  6. two calls remain established.

same issue

Tested on ManjaroLinux 24 KDE, the issue can be reproduced the same way.

Same for me on Windows 10. This is an important issue for us. We'd like to have conference calls with Linphone+Asterisk or remove this button, if conferences are not supported by some reason.

Same for us on both Windows 10 and Windows 11.
