Navigation bar acting poorly when window size changed, not mobile friendly #2

The highlighting of the current bar changes, squishes text together to point where it is unreadable. Also related to this issue, the site is not mobile friendly. Maybe figure out how to adaptively fit the navigation?

I think it'll be a good idea to use javascript to detect the browser screen size accordingly
