Purpose of code changes on this branch:
This is the initial implementation of multiple columns on the gallery. The CL 
is yet to address the following issues:
1. Some explorations occupy more than one column because an initial pre-fetch 
returned an odd number of exploration.
2. The UI doesn't match the mocks exactly.
