Tomcat startup params #1

Hi, could you precise how should we configure Tomcat?

8. Update Tomcat startup params (/etc/default/tomcat6)

After the Tomcat installation which params should we update?

Hi Johann, The only Tomcat parameter we have adjusted is the JAVA_OPTS, it may depend on the memory available on your VM:

Ours looks like:

JAVA_OPTS="-Djava.awt.headless=true -Xms1024m -Xmx12288m -XX:MaxPermSize=2048m -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC"

But see also the 'Environment' section of the document.
