Meta Playlist - Liked Songs #24

For some reason, currently my "Liked Songs" Meta Playlist only shows around 30 songs that I have liked in the past 2 months or so. I have around 1,800 liked songs that I previously tagged but they are not showing up on my "Liked Songs" - they do show up on my "All Songs" but this includes all the external playlists.

I can confirm this, I have exactly the same issue and I've reported this also be email to the author just now.

I'm also kindly asking to prioritize this problem over other issues since the "liked" songs list has a very central function - I personally use this list almost constantly, both for listening and tagging, and working on its contents with generators.... Thank you for considering.

As an (albeit uncomfortable and time-consuming (depending on your habits)) workaround, it is possible to go to "liked song" on Spotify, press CMD-A (I guess CTRL-A on PC), and then right click into the list and create a new playlist "liked 001". then sync Song Tagger. You will have to create a new playlist every time. But now all your liked songs will show up in Song Tagger.

I have removed all my playlists from Spotify (didn't need them). Afterwards I synced SongTagger. Result: As before "Like Songs" only shows a few liked songs: those after a certain date. The vast majority is missing. This has been the case for some time, so same problem as always. The "ALL" list in SongTagger however now features all songs that have been tagged AND all songs that appear in "liked" in Songtagger. All songs that are missing in "liked songs" also are missing in "all" EXCEPT if they have been tagged. So this might help clarify the issue more. Again, adding all songs from "liked" to a playlist "solves" the problem for the time being. It also seems to me that RE-LIKING all songs that don't show up might solve the issue. However note that songs that I added LESS THAN TWO WEEKS ago do not show up if they are only in the "liked" songs list in spotify (and not in a manually created playlist or have been tagged). I do not understand what exactly triggers the date before which liked songs no longer show up. Because bennyandthejets1 noticed the issue 3 (!) weeks ago, so there is no universal date where Spotiry changed sth. Unless the change was rolled out over the course of weeks.

Tip: reliking might work well by first adding all liked songs to a playlist and then unhearting and re-hearting every one of them. You cannot do that in the actual spotify liked list because the songs will disappear after liking them. So that's why you need to create a playlist first.

Info: it is 45 songs that show up in "liked", instead of around 1900. In case"45" is an indicator of anything. Songs are both tagged and untagged.

Here's another workaround that might work for some (reliablity not yet tested though). After adding all liked songs to a new playlist, create a generator that will tag all of those songs with "like" (or "l"). Any song that you will now like or add to a playlist (make sure you don't have playlists with stuff you don't like, such as adding "discovery weekly" to the left playlist bar which would also cause unwanted songs in DW to show up), will now show ups in the "untagged" list in SongTagger, ready to be tagged with "like" (always provide your method is liking ALL songs that you do indeed like, and that you do not creat playlists of not (and also not of not YET!!!) liked songs). As an added benefit you now have a backup of all your liked songs in the Song Tagger database.

The issues seems to have been fixed, and seems to have been on the side of Spotify because SongTagger has not been updated. Can anybody confirm it's working everywhere now? Benny?
