Note that I also receive messages from BNPPARIBAS without this issue for 2FA.

Same issue on Android 11 on Xiaomi Mi A3 following Benjamin-Loison/android/issues/25 see SMS received on 23/08/24 21:22. Well in fact it is 38001 is used for multiple purposes (the phone contact Tcl is correctly set to this phone number and Benjamin-Loison/android_packages_apps_Messaging/issues/1) and this phone had a contact with another purpose but this phone number.

The first actual example issue happened on 10/24/24 15:26. According to Xiaomi Mi A3 phone owner when answer the phone number it correctly answer the contact with another phone number.

Should investigate if Recents or Contacts or Messages mention this phone number.
