While:
sudo sysctl net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6=1
works, if add to either:
@reboot
crontab
/etc/sysctl.d/local.conf
/etc/sysctl.conf
then I have a black screen with only my mouse after login.
Note that I have not found net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6 in /etc/sysctl.d/.

/etc/sysctl.d/
