The issue is noticeable as right-clicking on an underlined in red word > Languages does not list French and concerning Add Dictionaries...:
While I am able to add the language pack, I have a blinking pop-up concerning adding the dictionary, see below attachment.
Settings > Extensions & Themes > Languages > Language: Français (French) > Manage does not propose anything interesting.
Find in Settings > language only lists the interesting Language section which can be found in General but both setting French as the lowest alternative and prefered language for displaying pages does not help.
