Latest version doesn't work, but earlier one does.

E-way E-6075FRS. After installing the latest version, it claims I have 1.31 firmware on my scooter. Max speed is 25km/h. I never updated my firmware or even installed the official app. After downgrading back to the earlier version of the patched app I get the option for unlimited speed back, but the app still claims I have 1.31 firmware. Also confirmed on the scooter that the speed is looking unlocked after installing the earlier version.

Edit: Downloaded the official wilfa app, and weirdly enough, it also shows that my firmware is updated to the latest one, even though I don't ever remember updating it. I must have accidentally updated it somehow. Also the earlier version of the patch still works, even though others claim it doesn't work on 1.31.

Could this mean that the speed hack can also work on the latest firmware? Seems weird to me that the old version of the hack works on the latest firmware, but not the new, but that's exactly how ot works for me. Would be nice if I could have the latest app as it also has support for locking the scooter with a pin.

It works with firmware 1,31 on my E-500, but not on my E-600. On my E-600 it only works with firmware 1.26...

I used the patched King Song app to downgrade my E600 firmware from 1.31 to 1.26, removed the original app and installed the patched one - it doesn't work, the patched app still only gives me the option to set the speed to 20 km/h.

I went over all the instructions several times, followed to the point, and confirmed the firmware version is at 1.26.

In the speed setting in the patched app, it says "Denmark", and I suspect that's the reason I'm not given any other speed options? I tried clearing the app storage and cache, and removing the location permission, but the app refuses to open without the location permission at all.

It doesn't look like this works. 😞

It turns out, the King Sing app does work with my E600 after all! so I'm not even sure why we need the e-way app at all? the King Song app appears to have all the same settings and more. isn't the e-way app basically a branded and restricted version of the King Song app? 🤔

@mindplay-dk Thats strange, I have an E600 too, and both Kingsong and the patched app works fine. Im doing about 37 Km/h...

I can switch to "unlimited" in the patched King Song app - but if I do anything in the e-way app (such as locking/unlocking) it switches right back to 20 km/h, and that's the only option displayed in the app. Might have something to do with country detection? I'll just keep both apps and use the King Song whenever I want to go fast. :-)

I belive u need to disconnect one wire from control box or theres one spike too many and move it then it shows 1.0 and u can downgrade. I hope scooter hacking inclues eways.... Mine went 45km/h when i got it and my friend did something to it....
