get ethernet cable for station in physics lab #30

The computer currently works over wifi, which isn't bad, but since all data is stored on the servers, it sometimes can be slow to access files/work on the code.

If you have any extra cables laying around, it would be nice to have.

how long do you need? i will open an issue with IT. i need the green cable in the catlab for the machine in front, and the other cable we were using was needed for a lab machine as well. IT has plenty so just let me know the length (15'?)

I'd say anywhere between 10' and 15' should be fine!

IT issue opened and received. likely the cable will be on hand tomorrow.

heard back from IT. i'll have the cable sometime around 10:30 today.
