Tower dysfunctional - need repair or a new one #62

We tried installing linux on the new machine we found at the back bench in the physics lab. The tower seems to have a problem, I even switched the monitor just to verify that it isn't the old monitor that @hcrowl left at the stock-station and it still didn't work. Some one more advanced might need to look at this, but Evan, William and myself are pretty confident that the tower might have issues. It's not communicating with the monitors at all!

Progress made here. Hard drive and RAM installed. @sandycurth and @cjalloh working on getting a Linux install to get running.

Here's an image of the CPU markings--should help in determining whether its 32- or 64-bit

it's an oldie but a goodie - it will support 64 bit operations

tower is no longer dysfunctional, and we already have an issue open for installing linux. This can probably be closed.
