Error Unsupported protocol #217

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.install mythbuntu 12 LTS, run as main backend only
2.install mythbox on XBMC 
3.try to connect mythbox to mythbuntu backend

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output on test connection should be success, Result instead is 
connection to mythpc.local failed: unsupported protocol 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Backend 0.25 is on Mythbuntu 12.10 LTS
XBMC Eden mythbox 1.1.0 

Please provide any additional information below.
I know it says it supports up to version .24 I was just wondering whats the 
timeline for an update to support version .25 or do you know of a work around 
until such release.
