* All times displayed inside the script are using format pm or am.

Would it be possible to show the same time format 
(ap:pm:00:00) like xbmc is using ?

This is also valid for the showing of dates .... 06.13 or 13.06 

*  My xmltv values for the descriptions are very long inside the database.
(For example over 7-8 lines of text)

Would it be possible to trimm the description to only show 1 or 2 lines of the 
description and not the hole text..
With my long descriptions the text inside the initial screen of livetv and 
and the epg-showing are garbled ...

* Changing the strings,xml has no affect ...

I could send you a updated version for the german.language

Agree with this, but not trim, make a text item with autoscroll.
