Most APIs have rate limits now detailed here:
https://developer.x.com/en/docs/twitter-api/rate-limits#v2-limits-free
All you can do is slow down the automation to only run within the limits of the API being called I'm afraid or pay to upgrade the API your using to a faster limit.
This seems more and more to be a limitation of using APIs.
X/Twitter API says.. 50 posts in 24 hrs or 1500 in 30 days whichever is sooner.
Sorry not much we can do to help here so going to close this one.
Hi, the bot has been down for a few months and I just moved it (after fixing it) from a paid account to a free one on Make and I am now getting the error below. The scenario has now been disabled by Make.
[429] Too Many Requests: Too Many Requests Learn more about Twitter v2 API rate limits: https://developer.twitter.com/en/docs/twitter-api/rate-limits
This is a Twitter (X) problem, no? Nothing to do with the free Make account. Been so long since I set this up that I forget and it says in the instructions that I'd need a paid Make account to run this, but it is running just fine, apart from the error from X.
So, Elon is to thank for this? Do I need a paid X account now to run the bot?
Thanks!
