Feature such as /report does not have a beginner-friendly command, which might cause some inconvenience for new user

Team's Response

We had originally planned on implementing this as a beginner-friendly command, ultimately did not due to time constraints, after some deliberation between members in our team. In future iterations, it will be the top priority.

However, we had reasoned that it was not necessary to include a beginner-friendly mode for two reasons:

  1. The usage of this command is well-documented in our UG, where we break down every option and how to use it in different combinations. So, users can just copy the command and change the input to get what they want.
  2. It is highly unlikely that a new user will generate a report, as it usually will require a few days/weeks/months of data collection for a good report. By that point, we believe that our users will be somewhat confident in using our application, and would have ventured into using the advanced commands, making them more familiar with advanced commands in general.

Also, you are incorrect in saying that "some features does not have beginner friendly commands". The one and only feature that does not support beginner friendly commands is the report function. Please be accurate in your bug reports.

Reason for disagreement: We had originally planned on implementing this as a beginner-friendly command, ultimately did not due to time constraints, after some deliberation between members of our team. In future iterations, it will be the top priority. is the reason the label NotInScope created in the first place. Therefore, this issue should be considered as NotInScope instead of Rejected
