Thanks for reporting this. Could you check whether the new option -p|--snap
in the latest commit in the testing branch (https://github.com/BernieO/calcardbackup/commit/2af9fbebd1912d0ceee676102a1bf9e013dd1497) creates compatibility with Nextcloud-snap?
You have to run calcardbackup with sudo (running as root won‘t work: https://github.com/nextcloud/nextcloud-snap/issues/356#issuecomment-335540294):
sudo ./calcardbackup /var/snap/nextcloud/current/nextcloud -p
Not directly compatible with snap installation as snap installation comes with a mysql bundle and does not require a standalone mysql server to be installed.
Notes: URL to find configs is: /var/snap/nextcloud/current/nextcloud/ MySql files are at: /var/snap/nextcloud/current/mysql/nextcloud
