Wavelength dependence of the PLATO instrument #1

@BertoltLang Does the PLATO 2.0 simulator take into account the wavelength dependence of the sensitivity of the end-to-end PLATO instrument? I am trying to find data or plots of this wavelength dependence, and I have yet to find a publication which details this. Thanks, Eric

As far as I know the wavelength dependence is included in the used point spread function. We use special psf.hdf5 files which contain data from ZEMAX simulations for different wavelengths as input for PLATOSim. This is still tested and to my knowledge there are no papers or publications about that topic yet. As a side note: this repository is absolutly not up to date. I recommend to get in touch with the developers of the tool to get access to their private repository and the newest version of PLATOSim and a far better support.
