I think it might be helpful if the users, on clicking the top menu tabs, get a definition of the category they have landed in.
For example, I think the word "Clavis" is not understandbale to those external to the project. And then the points underneath are not all Clavis. Why not call the top menu point Works, and then have Clavis Aethiopica instead of Textual Units, and the definition of the Clavis Aethiopica on top of the https://betamasaheft.eu/works/list page.
Also for other categories (Manuscripts, Persons, Places), however self explicable they may seem, a short intro text may be helpful.
