hyphen in IDs? #2069

I noticed that many among the manuscripts created during the training use a hyphen within their ID. I'm not sure whether this is according to our guidelines: https://betamasaheft.eu/Guidelines/?id=entities-id-structure ("IDs can contain no special characters, umlaut, underdots and other combining diacritics, only digits and Latin characters!"). I know that there are institution records which use an underscore, but this is not ideal and leads for instance to an error message on wikidata. I would be slightly in favour of standardising the encoding and changing now the newly created records. @eu-genia @DenisNosnitsin1970

important is to be in ASCII so we simply took from the spreadsheet, but you are right; I can do it once all PRs are closed and merged and write to all that this change had to be carried out

I think that it would be better like this. Thank you! Maybe, just for internal consistency, it would also be possible to change small caps institution abbreviations to capitals? In the case of the Dabra Sahl manuscripts. This is the error message on wikidata, apparently the Bm ID property there has been further restricted: image

I have renamed all new stubs (and DS https://github.com/BetaMasaheft/Manuscripts/pull/1612 is waiting for Jonas); as for the Wikidata I guess they do not like the underscore? We have many institutions with underscores, should all be changed or is it possible to uplift the WD restrictions? Where are these things defined?

As far as I understand, this was defined during the proposal of the Bm ID in Wikidata: https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:Property_proposal/Beta_Masaheft_ID I think that either to live with these problematic institutions or to change the institution IDs would be preferable to start a new discussion on the wikidata property.
