Loose Blocks do not stay Time Locked in unused areas of the map. #16

Minecraft used to have a feature where loose blocks would stay Time Locked in unused places of the world. For example, if I dig a tunnel in the far south and die, no matter how long of time passes those blocks will not disappear or count down to disappear until a player is in the localized area. Which gives players ample time to regear, gather food, and suit-up to go retrieve lost inventories. Which is good when you are exploring dungeons or other high risk areas (Nether StrongHolds). But as it currently stands, items count down to disappear whether there is a player in the area or not. Which makes it near impossible to recover items depending on how far away a Player's home point is set.

I don't think this can be fixed. It's an artifact of a chunk not going to sleep because some mod is keeping it awake. It's likely that I can't even track down what's happening.
