Not sure if poison will work this way tbh, this method would be useless for hostile mobs (unless the health slowly ticks down once poisoned, in which case it would basically just be like fire damage)
Poison debuff (once threshold is reached) applies slowness effect, a dark vignette around the screen and increases damage taken (opposite of armour conceptually).
Caps max health like rads in Fallout, designed with pvp in mind. Tied closely to scorpions.
