Persistent user data #8

Since we allow everything to be stored online, it would be useful to be able to retrieve the data cloud -> app. I'm thinking of UUID-based user connections, generated the first time somebody starts syncing. Although the current database format would have to be altered.

Users could sign up via email/pw and their e-mail address then gets linked with their UUID for easy peasy retrieval. What do you think?
