As it stands not, this warning reflects the current status of this project.

Actually, the update of the README has a wrong language: deprecated is the wrong word. Some of the contents is outdated by now. Yes, we know that.

Working on a version which will contain TLS 1.3 however. So stay tuned...

Closing this pull request and adding some info to the document on a future version.

@aaronkaplan: It's been 1.5 years now without a progress as far as I know. Do you mind adding the warning from #393?
