Feature request: Import/Export configuration #223

I use Betterbird on several different devices and operating systems including MacOS, Linux, and Windows.

On each of my devices, I have configured a range of mail accounts. These accounts have various settings such as email signatures, identities, calendars, folder column order/column views, RSS feeds, etc.

My wish is to have a means to export all my settings from one Betterbird instance and import them into another one. This way, I could put the settings in a VCS like Git and store my changes centrally.

Thunderbird has an export/import feature which is somewhat working. It's also available in Betterbird, use with care.

Thunderbird has plans for so-called Sync to synchronise settings across devices incl. mobile. Once implemented, it will also be available in Betterbird.

We have no other plans or capacity in this area.
