Added the speakers to Home APP, but they do nothing #323

I installed, configured the plugin and added all my speakers to Home App. But it does nothing. I'm unable to play music to it nor see what is playing. I do not see any errors on my home bridge logs. What exactly am I missing?

Same here, added a speaker w/o problems, but whenever I try to start/stop it via Home app nothing happens and I can see no activity in HB debug log. Tried re-adding, restarting -- same result. Upon HB restart, the speaker is re-discovered as expected, but after that there's nothing in logs from this plugin.

Below is the screenshot of speaker properties in HB:

Same here. They appear in the Home app but I can not use them for anything. What can we do to make them work? regards Praktiker.

Same issue here, speakers added to the Home app successfully, however they're stuck in the Stopped state regardless of actual playing status. Additionally, screensAsTelevisions is doing nothing for me, as Show devices are showing as TVs despite it being set to false.

I am currently testing a modified version of the plugin that adds my local Amazon Domain (.com.mx) before I submit a pull request for it. I thought perhaps things were only broken for me, but seeing as others have this issue too, I'm dropping by.

Obviously they don't work because they are not verified by Apple, the only thing you can do is check the device on the current media.
