Hotfix | Packaging issues on OSX #383

These changes are mostly the same as #382 . It mainly contains build system cleanup and one major change in Python binding which is discusses in #382 .

Fixes to Python API. strncpy can not write to const char*. Instead, initialize with value.
Build system fixes.

@upibhalla @hrani reminder. It's a hotfix. Would be nice if it is merged soon. Please let me know if you plan to do it later so I don't bug you needlessley.
