Conclusion: Superset Embedded SDK is unsuitable for our usecase in Diagnosis Tab

Reasoning:

• Diagnosis Page has 3 visualisations of telemetry data, a line graph, a heat map, and a table.
  • Our usecase here requires a cross filter feature, where filtering data on line graph or heat map should automatically filter data on the table view with the same filter.
  • The Table view has cols such as view chunks, which mean that it can only be implemented within admin context.
  • The iframe embedded using the sdk doesn't seem to return information on the filters applied on it, which means we cannot synchronise the table filters IF table is implemented within admin context.

Further Steps:

All three visualisations may have to be implemented within admin. The heatmap visualisation is a blocker here as we don't know of any established library that creates interactable and filterable heat map visualisations on geographical maps.

• Verify if @ChakshuGautam is aware of relevant FE libraries from geoquery context.
