Error in Makefile . please help

whenever i am typing make command . It throws an error like : Makefile:2: *** missing separator (did you mean TAB instead of 8 spaces?). Stop.

How to fix this issue

You need to use the TAB button for spacing instead of the spacebar. It worked for me.

I have tried using TAB space also, still it gives the same error.

yes ,i have used TAB button for spacing .It worked for me

Change the settings of VS code for TAB
